After the disastrous founding of the Wolf Sisters Chapter and its subsequent dissolution, the “Children of Russ”, a bold plan to defend the outskirts of the Imperium with the genetic heirs of Leina Russ, was declared unfeasible. What would have been a promise to propagate the Space Wolves Legion throughout the galaxy was undone by the Legion's very genomic flaws. But in the wake of unprecedented alien and daemonic onslaughts upon the Imperium, every ounce of wolf spirit's power would be critical in bringing humanity back from the brink of extinction. So the Children of Russ project was recommenced. This time, the Adeptus Mechanicus diluted the Space Wolves gene-seed with a sliver of genetic information from the White Scars. The new line, which drastically cut the rate of fatal mutations that once ravaged the Wolf Sisters, was deemed ready. The planet of choice was discovered centuries prior, when an exploratory ship crashed into an ice-covered, seemingly barren planet deep within the unexplored area of Ultima Segmentum. The survivors of the crash, numbering in the thousands, now had to contend with impossibly frigid temperatures, shifting, fragile, ice sheets, murderous fauna, and hostile Iron Age natives. By the time a recovery fleet arrived at the treacherous planet, only half a dozen survived what was nicknamed Novus Fenris.Suomus, a name with which Novus Fenris would be properly dubbed, was deemed the most lethal Death World up to that time. The natives of Suomus, molded by the elements into redoubtable warriors and ironsmiths, are divided into countless warring tribes bounded by ever-shifting alliances. From the depraved, cannibalistic Ostroboths to reindeer-riding Lapp pillagers, the warriors of Suomus kept battlefields fresh with daily bloodletting. Psychic prowess was honed solely for raw killing power, to the satisfaction of the Techpriests. The new Chapter, the Winter Wolves, contains only four Great Companies, all representing the multifaceted nature of the wolf. And unlike in Fenris, where they are venerated as spiritual beings, wolves are universally feared and detested amongst the people of Suomus. Thus, the Winter Wolves adorn themselves with canine iconog Message too long. Click here to view the full text.
Dunno where else to place it, but oh well.
She appeared on Chapter 9 in Strike Witches Zero. She was sitting in a throne, her face initially shrouded like that of a shogun or tenno. Whoever she was, she seemed to outrank every other Witch in the meeting.Any info on her?
Ancester of that one chick from Ao no Exorshit and Mugi from K-On!You can tell by the eyebrows.
>>688From the background, maybe she's the Emperor? Or Empress?but base on the military outfit... maybe Tojo's SW Counterpart?
Time to ask it because it seems to be the most asked question by people who don't watch the series. Why don't they wear pants?
>>638i was referring to the first manga that got cancelled after like 4 chapters
>>639Maidens of the blue sky, it lasted 3 chapters. I forgot they wore skirts when on the ground, but it's not translated so I wonder if they explain it. Although being an early iteration, I'm not sure if something said in it has any weight. As I said, I don't doubt it's not "true" that pants and skirts would be impractical during flight, it's not that hard to deduce, but I would like to know if that has ever been said anywhere officially. Like in Maidens of the blue sky, even though it's outdated.
I made this request a while back in the threads on 4chan but I'm asking again so there isn't a 40K thing on here.I would like a drawing of Charlotte and Bugs Bunny from a propaganda cartoon or something.
Delivered with some extra characters.https://www.helma.xyz/ok/res/7.html#23I reply to the old thread by mistake, though.
>>21That's pretty good!
>>459Might be nice

深夜、ヴィルケ大佐の執務室に通された客人は意外な人物~扶桑皇国駐在武官、坂本中佐~であった
>>399Gracefully aging doesn't attract translators.
>>400No, this imageboard doesn't attract translators. If you'd check the wiki you'd know that all the what-if pics are getting translated there, completely without the help of this place.
And yes, this should belong into the gracefully aging thread. Just because you like the character you should't make a whole thread for her.
Just a reminder fellows. You'll never be allowed to speak with the Witches.
>>370The characters are from the novel somus misfits squadron. This picture shows the base's canteen, I think…and male members are most likely watching the witches from behind …
>>376In a combat situation they'd most likely be manning AA guns. Other than that, they just go around fixing things (Striker Units, Weapons)/building things (the Witches' bath) and getting yelled at.
>>372I can't believe I actually looked up this movie. And now I have acquired a new fetish for S&M Minna.
Post witches who aren't in a JFW or something similar (Isle of Wight, Afrika Corp, etc.)
>>Did they ever say which witches from the Suomus Independent Air Force joined the 507th?No...just the original member of the misfit squad joined.Actually is that the misfit squad. got upgraded from a squadron to a JFW
>>367someone posted a command flowchart for the 501st that showed who Minna has command over. I would hazard to guess that the main difference between a squadron and a wing in the strike witches world is not the number of witches it has, but the 500 to 1000 support personnel a JFW has to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Does anyone have pics of individual Witch shields?
Also another picture I forgot I had before scanning half a page from the first fanbook.
Very vague but looks very similar, if not the same, to the Western style...
>>363Patty is a western-style witch. Of course her shields are going to look like western shields.
>>273Why, just because it's not 100% canon and more of a test side for new ideas that maybe get adopted into the main series at a later point? Also, I just remembered that Nipa's sister is in a Tank Witches unit too. They are tasked with retrieving the Break Witches from Neuroi territory.
>>275Pretty sure you mean Eila's sister, Aurora. She's been mentioned by the staff and named in a booklet. Here's some fan art of her.
>>277Yeah, I blame it on seeing a picture of Nipa in the Null thread and getting confused. SHould have just gone with Aurora instead, but then nobody would have known what I am talking about...
