Yeah, it's been a few weeks now and I haven't seen any more of the C89 cover for sale since I bought mine. Bootleggers don't have it or anything. In total I think I only saw 2 or 3 of them for sale. They must have made a much smaller number, I think the same was true for last comiket's sheet as well, because I don't recall seeing that a lot either. The earlier stuff was everywhere.

I really don't like that because it means you're kind of screwed if you need a replacement.

Oh hai. I'm originally from Seattle. I live in Tucson now. The Museum of flight should be pretty easy to get to from downtown. Boeing still has enough stuff down there that they'll have regular bus service (I think)

The Museum of Flight is pretty great. I believe it is the largest private flight museum in the world. All of the competitors in its class are publicly funded in one capacity or another.

For other stuff around Seattle to see, there's always the sound. IIRC you're from Montana or something. You'll definitely want to see the water. It's neat. There's salt in it, and giant octopi. The aquarium is on the waterfront. It's very nice and pretty highly regarded.

The space needle is nice but you can see it from all over the city and you don't really need to worry about going up it. The seattle center is nice though, and you can see the glass museum if you're into that sort of thing.

The seattle Asian Art Museum in volunteer park is an almost perfect combination of setting and collection, and probably one of the best art deco buildings on the west coast. You're on a strike witches image board so I assume you like asian stuff.

The Seattle Art Museum down town has a few excellent collections. They're PNW/Coast Salish masks are among the best in the world, and their African collection is really interesting. They also have some of the more standard Renaissance era European stuff that is very cool.

The Pike Place Market is something people like to do. The Pike Brewery in the basement has good food and good brews for a good price.

I don't know if you're going to be there when the mariners are playing but the games can be had for pretty cheap and baseball games are a lot of fun.

That should cover you for nearly an entire trip.

I'll try my best to get to the Museum of Flight. I hear they have a giant Great War model display I almost want to see as bad as the real planes.

We have a city pass so I think we'll be doing the space needle thing anyways, not that I really care a whole lot. We'll be going out on a harbor tour ship as well, sadly we won't be visiting the ocean though. Seattle is a tease since I've never seen the ocean and still won't even though it's so close.

Is the zoo nice? Think i'd rather take a trip up there than see some lame music museum.

The Zoo is very nice. I spent many weeks of summer vacation there at zoo camp. The rainforest and nocturnal houses are great, as are the wolves and grizzlies in the PNW section.

It's pretty entertaining watching the wild bald eagles hanging around the bald eagle exhibit harassing the captive bald eagles.

There's also a rose garden that might be budding now, it's out the main (southern) entrance and to the left. Woodland park is huge and leads all the way to Greenlake. Greenlake is very cool as far as holes in the ground filled with water go, and is a great place to stare at strangers' breasts.

While you're up there, spend some time in Fremont. It is the single most "Seattle" place in Seattle. Wallingford is also very nice.

I had a Washington CPL for about 5 years and never bothered to carry in Seattle. It's not a particularly dangerous city. There's a high tolerance for vagrancy which makes things look worse than they are but I've never had a serious issue with anyone and there's usually a pretty good police presence in places with lots of shitstains and junkies.

No. It kind of works out since she and the rest of the 501st canonically know English. Erich probably did too, most officers (at least back then) knew a bazillion languages. There's that part in Storm of Steel where Ernst Jünger and a British officer are hanging out in the middle of a battle speaking French.

Little EMT Jr. probably should have taken German in highschool, but really, Japanese would be more beneficial in an odd way. Being able to read all that untranslated content would really be a blessing.

Basically she's lying on her tummy straight with head and the upper torso stretched towards the camera holding her head with hands. Her feet would be raised up from the knees and crossed like that.
Really not a good reference but something like that with legs crossed and entire back focus definition would be nice, maybe just have half of the face visible with a smug grin and peek of an eye corner, neck turned 90 degrees while held by hands.

I'm not entirely sure about the other side. I was thinking her in her normal uniform, slightly unbuttoned so part of her belly is showing, wearing her hat (lopsided because she's in bed) and black tulip thigh highs (maybe just regular black). Just laying on her back in a comfy pose and not channeling her familiar.

As far as that side, I had envisioned a back pose as well. Side poses are really awkward with dakimakuras because of perspective issues. Something with a lot of focus on her soft belly and that cute skirt thing. She would probably be using one arm to cover up her chest, and have a slightly embarrassed but happy look on her face with her familiar channeled. So one side with her (mostly) dressed in the darker color clothing contrasting with the lighter colored lingerie on the other.

Those were just the ideas bouncing around in my head though.

They're not that cuddly (a dakimakura should be cuddly first and foremost!), and the super odd perspective means that she has to twist her neck in a really unnatural way to look towards the "viewer" per say.
