Strike Witches Airsoft pistols.Western Arms is releasing Shirley's M1911 and Lucchini's M1934.And I just preordered Shirley's M1911.
Whoa, whoa, What? What country is the company based in?
>>3674Little Google search should tell you, but it's Japanese company.They mostly make pretty high-end M1911 and Beretta.Also, here's Lucchini's M1934
Here's Francesca's one.
I want a Sanya-branded rocket launcher now.
i would like it more if they just sold the grip panels and let you add them to your own gun, since sirley's at least costs more than an RIA 1911
Man, I wonder how Kadokawa is enjoying their money printing machine? Strike Witches the plush! Strike Witches the figurines! Strike Witches the airsoft pistol!
>>3684Henceforth, licenses should be embedded on every gun. The kids'll love 'em.
>>3673If it's a weapon coming from Japan, then surely it's deactivated?
>>3685They should make a Strike Witches cereal. I'd buy it. >dem witch marshmallows>dat glucose
>>3688Well, you can get Strike Witches coffeehttp://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=CGD2-32838&page=topalso candyhttp://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIG-COL-4252&page=top
Speaking of SW food, we need Strike witches SPAM, or SPEM or whatever.
Looks really nice...but that price... is freaking steep...:P
>>3697Spem? Ick.
>>3698Strike Witches: Emptying wallets since 2008.
>>3673Whoa, wait. Link?
>>3888Shirley's M1911http://www.wa-gunnet.co.jp/product_info.php?products_id=851Francesca's M1934http://www.wa-gunnet.co.jp/product_info.php?cPath=2&products_id=850At current exchange rate, Shirley's M1911 is worth $460
>>3890Just watch it sell like hotcakes. Man, $460. That's like, at least 4 Moist Nuggets right there. Maybe 5.
wait, wait, wait, how the hell did you preorder yours? I can't find any proxy or anyone to order one for me. Do you live in Japan or something?
>>4011I have a friend over thereHe kindly shipped it over to me
>>4027You are so lucky...Damn Im jealous
>>4028It would be neat to have to be sure, but I would certainly hope there is some quality behind that piece to justify the cost. Granted I'm not aware of airsoft gun prices, but around 460 usd is some serious money.
>>4036For comparison, in California I bought my airsoft G19 for about $100. It is on the cheaper side though, doesn't even have the trigger safety. And then of course, the price changes depending on how the gun operates. Spring guns are super cheap, gas guns are expensive, and electric guns are somewhere in the middle. There's also brands to consider, whether they make full metal guns or plastic shit.I don't know how the airsoft market is in Japan, but I'd say those two guns are pretty nice quality. Still nothing I'd pay $460 for though.
Be more expensive to have a real 1911 customized, provided you have the correct model.I for one would buy Yeager's gun should the chance ever present itself, however, no proxy services will do it and I have no one in Japan that will order it for me.
>>3890>Lucchini's M1934>33,600YEN275 €?! Nice profit margins there.I bought a Western Arms M1934 a few years ago. It cost me around 100 €.WA berettas are pretty faithful replicas of the real thing, licensed by Beretta and all that. The barrel even has rifling grooves, so it's a pretty nice deco weapon if you remove the inner airsoft barrel. They're not full metal though, the slide and frame are plastic. All other parts are metal.
>>5600Welcome to the world of licensed merchandise. The more fingers in the pie the more you have to dosh out for your goods.
I'd rather have a standard-issue witch M1934 than the Lucchini special... it's way too pimped out.But in any case, the WA berettas are top-notch GBB airsoft pistols and nice deco weapons, if anyone's looking to buy one.>>5605Mine's a similarly licensed anime gun as well (NOIR/Kirika).Apparently WA has upgraded the airsoft internals, but the price difference is still crazy.
>>5606>Mine's a similarly licensed anime gun as well (NOIR/Kirika). >Apparently WA has upgraded the airsoft internals, but the price difference is still crazy.Very nice. Where did you get it?
WA is probably the worst cash cow in airshit industry...All they do is use same old mold of Beretta and 1911 for years and just paste on some marking or paint and sell it for $400.They also make up a lot of shitty tie-ins with animes, resulting in a deco-ed gun that have absolutely nothing to do with the show except the logo to lure the gullible collectors. At least they came up with explanation on the SW guns, that is they are gift from Maria to 501st.And there's a rumor they are working on new version of the SW guns with less decoration with black finish, for more practical uses.Fuck this, I'm probably gonna get this one too anyways.
>>5607Can't say I remember. It was some asian online airsoft retailer.>>5608Eh, they're not that bad. They've done some great things in the past and two "shitty anime tie-ins" in the recent times (Madoka & Strike Witches)I'm looking forward to less overly decorated versions of the SW guns.
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=331564878#PICyou can buy a Beretta 1934 for less than these cost... i kinda wanna.
>>5626That's actually M1935, the 7.65mm browning version of M1934. Those handgrips are not original. Markings suggest a late post-ww2 model. Not worth its price. Oh, and the airsoft Beretta was cheaper.Offtopic sage.
